We participated in the North Sea Days to learn more about other ongoing projects in the North Sea region, the regional agenda, emerging trends, and policies shaping the future of offshore wind in the North Sea.

Holi-DOCTOR Stakeholder Workshop

This expert workshop brought together stakeholders, industry professionals, researchers, and policymakers to discuss current and future needs in offshore wind turbine monitoring and management. It focused on a holistic approach integrating social, ecological, and technical aspects, including tools for blade monitoring and improved maintenance strategies.

NAWEA / WindTech 2024 Conference

At NAWEA / WindTech 2024, the Holi-Doctor project was presented to a community of researchers focusing on social challenges in wind energy. In addition, Helena participated in a plenary panel discussion, sharing insights from the project, and Muyao received an award for his poster.

We participated in the WindEurope Education and Skills workshop, which highlighted critical challenges and offered insights to help shape the future of the wind workforce.

Wind Europe – Istanbul

At the WindEurope event in Istanbul, Simon and Helena chaired a technology session focused on gathering expert perspectives on new tools and methodologies to mitigate the environmental impacts of wind turbine blades. The session highlighted innovative approaches and insights from industry and research experts.

WINDed Summer School

Over three days, together with an inspiring group of students, academics, and early-career professionals, we explored the technical, social, and ecological challenges and opportunities of offshore wind operations and maintenance (O&M). This was done through expert lectures and hands-on sessions.
